~A/N: Listen As You Read! www.youtube.com/watch?v=m326LN… ~
The rumbling phenomenon seemed to occur over and over again in that seemingly timeless moment, where the birds chirps and songs came to a halt, and even the winds ceaseless whirring dissipated into the tense and strained atmosphere while everyone had their breath caught in their throats. Of course, he had seen many of the beasts kind before, but never had he felt so responsible and accountable to each and every soul surrounding him on horseback, a mix of determination, courage, and alarm decorating their expressions. They were all, besides undoubtedly critical sacrifices to keep him and the others alive, faceless, to the point where he began to wonder if this had all been a figure of his horrific imagination, or if he was actually about to ram head-first into battle with his tenacious soldiers by his side. Only one of the fighters were comprehensible, adorning the beautiful features he had become so vulnerable to, more defenseless than standing before a monster without any weapons whatsoever.
"I'm coming with you, no matter what," she suddenly spoke, voice as sweet as the gentle flow of honey, yet with the boldness of a flame battling against the tears of a charcoal cloud lurking in the midnight sky.
Oddly puzzled at her words, a seemingly previously assembled statement escaped his esophagus in his regular monotonous tone, yet a bit of almost indistinguishable concern laced within its depths. "No, you can't. You need to stay here where it's safe, I can't risk you going out there and getting yourself killed by those barbarians-"
"I can handle myself just fine, you don't need to worry about me!" she retorted, brows knitting together. He could practically see the reckless and gallant fire kindling behind the valiant sparkle in her eyes. As he attempted to form words, once again some prepared ones left his parted lips as a sense of protectiveness overcame his figure.
"I don't want you to end up like them!" he blurted out. Seeing her features soften, his statements continued to flow out without impediment. "I couldn't protect them back them, I don't want to make the same mistake."
She stared at him a long while, before murmuring softly, "I'm not like Isabel and Farlan, Levi. I'll be okay." And with that, she snapped the reins harshly on her chestnut horse, galloping away from his form. He began attempting to ride after her, and yet his horse was unresponsive. He shut his eyes tightly, clenching his hands into fists as her name tore from his throat, and everything went dark.
A sharp gasp tore from his lips as he shot bolt upright, fists desperately grasping for anything to support himself on, fingers only entangling themselves into the dark emerald blades of luscious grass stemming from the dark soil below, ashen silver hues squinting at the sudden bright pale light sifting in from the inky sky above. Its midnight surface was splattered with an infinite amount of twinkling stars, mocking his figure below by flaunting their profuse illuminate rays. He found himself at the base of a cavern, a familiar figure dozing by his side along with two others off behind him. The woman next to him stirring, her lids peeled open to reveal a pair of orbs brighter than any of the shining lights in the azure sky, suddenly causing his defenses to raise as his usual stoic expression washed over his alarmed one.
"What is it?" she hummed, voice scratchy with grogginess.
Steely grey orbs flitting down to the floor, he mumbled a hushed, "Nothing." Noticing her unconvinced aspect as she slowly sat up, he glanced off to the side. "I'm fine," he added, grasping at the few blades of grass poking out from the meager cracks of the stone.
"Don't try to hide from me," she said with a slight giggle. "If you keep waking up like this, Isabel and Farlan are going to notice soon," she said, motioning over to the two other figures sprawled close to the campfire set more towards the inside of the cavern. "And you know Isabel won't stop talking until she knows you're better. And Farlan isn't stupid, Levi, neither am I. So what's wrong?"
"Nothing, just some stupid fucking dream. Just go back to sleep," he reassured with a slightly irritated and troubled sigh.
Another angelic laugh bubbled from her rosy lips as she shook her head. "Are you sure it's a dream, Levi?"
Before he could respond, all went dark again.
His lids snapped open.
Breaths releasing slow and steady, they were the complete opposite of the rapid beating of his heart that rang vociferously in his ears despite his shallow breaths being the only audible noise in the barren room. Ashen silver hues flitting about the dull ceiling, he gradually sat up on the mattress, silky snow-white sheets falling into his lap as he surveyed his surroundings. Nothing out of the ordinary, empty and desolate, as usual. If only he could rid himself of all these heart-wrenching memories haunting his every waking and unconscious moment. Especially when he glanced to the side to see that lonely spot on the bed uninhabited and cold, as if no one had ever rest their head on the plush pillow there in the first place.
And yet, those few precious memories that still roamed into the front of his mind at the most unsuspecting moment is what kept him sane, it's what kept him from breaking down, crumpling to the floor in a heap of sobs and screeches for the clock to rewind as far as he begged it to. The faint memory of how her bright hues would survey his stoic countenance and immediately know his emotions with just the way he breathed is what kept his strive towards freedom bold and passionate. Those lurking few seconds he held her crimson-stained hand before the liveliness in her eyes simmered down to nothingness kept his heart beating, and even the echo of her cherub laugh kept him standing on his feet.
If he closed his eyes, maybe all would go back to the way it used to be, when nothing had changed... All he wanted to do, despite all of the energy flowing through his body at the sheer memory of her, at the mere thought of her presence by his side, was curl up and shut his eyes, just to relive every beloved and adored second her soul etched itself into his.
And the walls kept tumbling down,
In the city that we love...
Great clouds roll over the hills,
Bringing darkness from above...

I Was Here - {Armin x Reader}

I wanna leave my footprints on the sands of time
Know there was something that, meant something that I left behind
When I leave this world, I'll leave no regrets
Leave something to remember, so they won't forget
The hooves of your horse and the other's of your team made a soft thud sound as they hit the grass they rode on. The outside walls were no joke. The sky gave off a dark gray, signaling rain was soon to come. You pulled the hood of your cloak over your head and kept a look out for titans. Armin was riding next to you, and you gave him a smal

My Wings of Freedom (Levi x Reader)
You lay in the grass with Levi, resting your arms behind your head as your eyes gazed into the summer scenery. You felt the pain on your soft cheeks which meant that the summer sun had done its damage. But you didn’t mind sunburn as long as your were alive. Anything that made you feel alive, you warmly embraced.
“Corporal?” You mumbled, closing your eyes and waited for a response from the immobile male next to you.
“Mhmm?” Came his soft hum of a response.
“Do you think the people of this earth will ever be liberated?” You thought aloud.
Your ever growing pool of questions for your superior nev

38 Weeks -Ereri- Part 8
Chapter Eight
Eren's POV
I sit on the examining table at Levi's doctor. Levi himself stands next to me, holding my hand in his.
A few weeks ago I sat in this office while the doctor took blood and other various things, he poked and prodded me, and finally he had told me to come back on this date to get the results.
Here we were, Levi and I, anxious to get the results back.
The doctor walked in, a frown on his face while flipping through papers in the folder in his hands.
He glanced up and sent us a tired smile. “Afternoon, gentlemen. I have some good and some bad news.”
I stiffen.
“Good news is that we found nothing

I'VE BEEN WANTING TO WRITE THIS FOREVER //jumps out window// THIS SONG IS MY JAM
Being serious here, whenever I listen to this song I get this nostalgic feeling in the pit of my stomach, that excited yet sick feeling you get and you kinda feel like throwing up but at the same time feel like standing up and dancing, and this song gives me that weird sensation of crying and screaming and laughing and I wanted to write something to it really badly I'M WEIRD WITH EMOTIONS OKAY
Now proof-reading it I feel like I COULD HAVE DONE A LOT BETTER
Because it's also kind of confusing...? But then again all of my fics are confusing //shot//
BASICALLY, Levi has like, a dream inside a dream, the first one where him and Reader are off to fight the titans, and the second where he's remembering when everything was fine and normal and safe before all of them -including Isabel and Farlan- went to the Survey Corps. And in the last one, he wakes up in reality, where Reader, Farlan, and Isabel are all dead, and wishes to just close his eyes SO IT ALMOST FEELS LIKE NOOOOOTHING CHANGED AT ALLLLLLLL
I'm going to hell for so many angst fics did you know that
PLEASE COMMENT BECAUSE COMMENTS ARE MUCH APPRECIATED AND THEY MAKE MY DAY <3
Thanks For Reading!
